Life Drawing

Friday Night Life Drawing first started with the opening of the MCCLA, and is the longest running class at the Center. I have been attending since 1992, under the guidance of exceptional artists, and have had the pleasure of running the class for several years now.

Each week we have a live nude model to draw, starting with short poses to warm up (2-5-10 minutes), and then 20 minute poses to the end. Bring your own materials, but I have some extra paper, charcoal, erasers & some other miscellaneous materials you can use.

All levels are welcome! I can help with some guidance as needed, but the nature of Life Drawing is focus and practice. The session starts at 6:00 pm (no one will be turned away for being late – but if late, please be respectful of the artists already working), and finishes at 8:30 pm.
