Thank you for joining us for our
"45th Anniversary Gala" on August 12, 2022.

It was an extraordinary event that took participants through a historical journey through time and brought together the founders, leaders, cultural workers, artists, and community members that have contributed to the amazing legacy of art for social change and creative expression. The Gala highlighted the impact of MCCLA as a multicultural, multidisciplinary arts organization committed to the collaborative artistic vision of the Latino art forms.

We want to thank Master Sculptor Manuel Palos and Alejandra Palos for allowing their Mayan collection created from scholar Joan W. Patten's casts and rubbings of the original artifacts in Guatemala, to be exhibited at MCCLA's historic gallery for the first time. It is an honor to have the "Mayan Kings in the Heart of the Mission" on exhibit through October 14, 2022.

You are invited to join us October 14th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm to bid farewell to the Mayan Kings with a closing reception that will include an evening of musical performances, dancing, food, drinks, and the artistic legacy of our indigenous ancestors.

This event would not have been possible without our sponsors. Thank you for your continued support. Your contributions support the long-term sustainability of Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts as we face the challenge of temporary relocation due to seismic retrofitting.
