About This Class
The Capoeira youth program is designed to foster mental and physical development for all participating youth. Through the art of Capoeira, the program gives youth a healthy and exciting activity to put their energy into. The difficulty of the exercises depends on the age group and level of the students. Each class will conclude with a group circle (roda) where students clap, sing, play music and rehearse the movements they have learned against each other.
As a Capoeirista, students will develop the skills listed below:
