About This Class
The Capoeira program is designed to foster mental and physical development for all participators. Through the art of Capoeira, the program offers a healthy and exciting activity to put your energy into. The difficulty of the exercises depends on the age group and level of the students. Each class will conclude with a group circle (roda) where students clap, sing, play music and rehearse the movements they have learned against each other.
Some important benefits that students experience through capoeira are: balance, flexibility, acrobatics, coordination, respect, teamwork, music, self esteem, dance, singing, self defense, endurance training, strength development.
