Connect with us on Sunday, September 27th at 2:00 pm via zoom as we remember the life and legacy of Carlos Gilberto Aceituno, founder of the award-winning Fogo Na Roupa samba performance company and a master of the capoeira martial art form. This special collaboration between Fogo Na Roupa and the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts will begin with a special blessing by a community member and artist Jorge Molina, then followed by a discussion with Jennie Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts, Roberto Hernandez, Artistic Director of Carnaval and Yuyi Morales, Author and past Fogo Na Roupa member, among others.
