23 Minutos + con Adrian (23 Minutes + with Adrian) is a project that brings poetry to your home, in an easy and interactive way, with great artists of the word such as, Alejandro Murguia, Aida Salazar, Roman Lujan y Yuyi Morales, Every Thursday we will have a different poet, sharing a different style, besides listening to poetry you will be able to interact with them!

Biografía
Yuyi Morales nació en Xalapa, México, la ciudad de las flores y los manantiales. Después de emigrar a los Estados Unidos en 1994, luchó con el inglés y la soledad en una cultura ajena a ella, pero encontró consuelo en las bibliotecas públicas, donde leyó libros infantiles con su hijo y descubrió un renovado interés en las historias y el arte. Ahora es autora e ilustradora de muchos libros para niños, entre ellos el superventas Dreamers del New York Times, Niño Wrestles the World, y es seis veces ganadora de la Medalla Pura Belpre por una destacada obra de literatura para niños que mejor retrata , afirma y celebra la experiencia cultural latina. Otros honores incluyen el Premio Américas, la Medalla Golden Kite, el premio Christopher, el Premio Jane Adams y el Premio Tomás Rivera. En 2015 recibió el Caldecott Honor por su libro Viva Frida.
Biography
Yuyi Morales was born in Xalapa, Mexico, the city of flowers and springs. After migrating to the US in 1994, she struggled with English and loneliness in a culture foreign to her but found solace in public libraries, where she read children’s books with her son and discovered a renewed interest in stories and art. She is now the author and illustrator of many books for children, including the New York Times bestseller Dreamers, Nino Wrestles the World, and she is a six-time winner of the Pura Belpre Medal for an outstanding work of literature for children that best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience. Other honors include the Americas Award, the Golden Kite Medal, the Christopher Award, the Jane Adams Award, and the Tomas Rivera Award. In 2015 she received the Caldecott Honor for her book Viva Frida.
